Coming this month the Fall tournament circuit is in full swing and our team of competitors are ready for the challenge ahead! Lots of fun things to do with the dojo family this month such as the Sober October Challenge, Halloween Stroll and Costume Class, Bring A Boo, Special 21-Day Sprint, tournaments, and the Esplanade in Boston. Get ready for a wicked awesome October at Xtreme Ninja!

HALLOWEEN STROLL & COSTUME CLASS
Friday, October 27th
3- 5pm Trick or Treat at Medford Square
5-5:45pm Costume Class at the Dojo
Medford's Annual Halloween Stroll in Medford Square!
Kids can trick or treat at businesses in the square 3-5pm, and then come to fun costume class at Xtreme Ninja
- Halloween Kick or Treat Class Ages 3-6
- Halloween Kick or Treat Class Ages 7-12
This is a Bring A Buddy event, so members are welcome to bring a friend to come train for the night!

LEADERSHIP & INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Saturday, October 21st at 12:30pm
This program is designed for students who are looking to develop their leadership skills and apprentice towards becoming an instructor. Included in this program are eight seminars plus certification in child stages of development, laws of instruction, steps to teaching a drill, pad holding, teaching skillz and brain skillz.
Students in this program must be able to commit to attending the monthly seminars, completing the certifications, participate in our mentorship training sessions and supporting one class per week to apply their learnings. Participants in this program may be eligible for future employment as an instructor. There will be three levels of leadership including level 1 Junior Assistant, level 2 Senior Assistant, level 3 Instructor.
Students in this program must be invited and sponsored by an existing instructor. For an instructor to see leadership potential in a student is a great honor and should be taken very seriously. Students may approach an instructor to be sponsored and invited if they are interested in joining this development program. This program is recommended for students ages 9 and up. This program is a great opportunity to add to any resume!
Students who were invited last month attended their first training seminar. You will soon be seeing these new Leaders on the mat as they develop their skills in teaching and being a role model on and off the mat. Keep an eye out for these amazing helpers! |

CERVIZZIS FALL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Sunday, October 22
We are so excited to invite you to the Cervizzi’s Fall Invitational Karate Tournament to be held at Malden Catholic High School Malden, Massachusetts on Sunday 10/22/2023. Doors will open at 7:30 am and Tournament will begin promptly at 8:30am. There will be additional venue space and additional rings for competitors and spectators. Competitors can register for point sparring, traditional kata, and traditional weapons. In addition, we will be partnering with Uventex Tournament Software to streamline and enhance our tournament experience throughout all aspects of the registration process as well as at the event itself. You will definitely see a new look at this event.
Please register early to save and guarantee your spot. In addition, you can purchase spectator tickets on line at Uventex or at the door.

Whether you're a ghost, a superhero, or a zombie, the choice is yours! Please note that gloves will not be provided, so be sure to bring your own or pick up a pair before the event.
🎉 Costume Contest:
In the spirit of the season, we'll be hosting a Costume Contest with fabulous prizes up for grabs! Show off your costume and have a chance to win some fantastic rewards. We can't wait to see your creative outfits.
