Saturday, May 20th
The Leadership Team presents our Spring Tournament! This is a great opportunity for students curious about competing but not ready to make the big leap to outside tournament circuits. Test your skills and show off what you have learned! Competing is a great way to boost confidence, build courage, and learn what you need to work more on.
Reminder, there will be no regular youth classes on the day of the tournament.

| LEADERSHIP TEAM TRAINING
Saturday, May 20th at 2 PM
This month Leadership will be working on CREATIVITY. To have creativity and energy means that you are a person who is active and lively, and makes everyone around you feel energetic too. It is important to put creative energy into everything you do, especially teaching because you are in a leadership position and set the tone for the class. Adding creativity not only to your teaching, but to the other parts of your life makes you a more entertaining instructor and a more engaging person. This is also an important quality to cultivate as a competitor. We will be working on how to apply this as a leader when helping teach a class and when performing at a competition.
The Leadership Team has also added some new members! Welcome Alisa, Jahlina and Ja’lia to the Leadership Team! We are excited to see students step up to become leaders in the dojo which will help them become leaders in the world. |

Enjoy a night out to do shopping, run errands, go out for a nice dinner, or just enjoy some quiet time at home.
Kids attending will get to do karate class, and then showtime with pizza!
What happens at one of our Parents' Night Out events?
Great question!
Your kids will be following along to an interactive story that is told by professional voice actors. Your child will be playing team games, having a great snack, and best of all, using up all their built-up energy!
What are you waiting for?
- $40 per child, bring a buddy event
- Drop off at 5 pm, pick up at 8 pm

| WHO LET THE DOG'S OUT??!!
Saturday, May 13th
Boba and the dogs of the dojo would like to invite you and your furry friends for a play date at the Medford Dog Park.
After you get your morning workout done it’s their turn to get some exercise in!  
We also have special limited edition Xtreme Ninja dog bandannas for the doggies. We are asking for a $10 donation per bandana and all proceeds will go to the nonprofit Dawgs Fight Back (where we adopted Boba from and where her mama was rescued). |
