Spring is here, and April is a great time to see how far our students have come. As the season changes, we often see kids showing more confidence, stronger focus, and a willingness to challenge themselves in new ways.

At the dojo, this month is all about growth, consistency, and continuing to build strong habits. Each class gives students another opportunity to improve their skills, support their teammates, and take pride in the progress they’re making on and off the mat.

April 11│5:00 PM - 8:00PM  – Parent's Night Out

Get ready to dip, duck, and dodge! We’re turning up the fun with high-energy games, ninja obstacle courses, and fast-paced challenges from start to finish. Kids will stay moving, laughing, and burning off tons of energy while parents enjoy a well-deserved night off.

April 18 │ 12:30 PM - 1:0PM –  Leadership & Instructor Development Training

This training helps students grow into leaders who support others, set the example, and represent the values of the Xtreme Ninja community.

May 2 │ 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM – Medford Square Cleanup

Join us for our upcoming community cleanup! It’s a great opportunity to give back, protect our environment, and take pride in keeping our neighborhood clean and beautiful.

Sparring Gear Inspection 

As we head into tournament season, it’s time to make sure all sparring equipment is safe, properly fitted, and ready for action. We’ll be conducting our Spring Sparring Gear Inspection to help students stay protected and perform at their best during training and competition.

Our team will check all required gear to ensure it meets safety standards and fits correctly. This is a great opportunity to replace worn-out equipment or upgrade anything that no longer fits.

Sparring gear is available for purchase through the MyStudio app, and select items can also be found in our pro shop.

It’s time for our 3rd Annual XN Challenge Open Tournament! This is one of our favorite events of the year, bringing together martial artists from all across New England for an action-packed day of competition, energy, and nonstop excitement.

Whether you’re stepping on the mats or showing up to support, the atmosphere is electric. It’s your chance to test your skills, represent Xtreme Ninja, and be part of something bigger than just training.

It’s community, competition, and an experience you won’t forget.

• 5:00 PM – Karate Kata (Forms) Open Mat
  FREE for members! A great chance to refine your forms and get extra practice in a supportive environment.

• 6:00 PM – Mastery & Performance Training for The Leadership Team
  For those gearing up to compete—focused training to sharpen your skills and take your performance to the next level.

• 7:00 PM – Advanced Karate (Black Belts only)
  A dedicated space for our advanced students to refine techniques and continue pushing their limits.

For adult training and recovery:

  Tuesdays | 5:30 AM – XFit Bootcamp
  Start your day strong with a high-energy, full-body workout.

Get ready for a high-energy Parents’ Night Out your kids won’t stop talking about!

We’re packing the night with ninja obstacle courses, fast-paced agility games, dodge challenges, and tons of action from start to finish.

Kids will jump, run, climb, and laugh their way through an unforgettable evening while parents enjoy a well-earned night off.

It’s the ultimate night of ninja fun, games, and new friendships!

  HANDBOOK HIGHLIGHT:

Sparring & Training Equipment

Individual items may be purchased a la carte in the MyStudio App.  

• For students who are doing both Karate and Muay Thai we recommend that you purchase the Karate Sparring helmet as it can be used for both arts and then add individual items needed for Muay Thai (elbow pads, boxing gloves, shin-instep guards) and Karate (sparring gloves, sparring boots, chest protector).
• All boys must wear a cup supporter!  If they do not wear one they will end up finding out why they need to be worn at some point!  Get them used to wearing it young as it is more difficult to get them to start wearing it when they are older. 
• Weapons, boards, targets, kicking shields and more are available for purchase in the MyStudio App in the Retail section.  Please look through our online shop and let us know if you have any questions on any gear.
• We do not allow sharing of equipment for health and safety of students and in the interest of maximizing time in classes.
